It was a soup kinda of day

Woke up this morning with a craving for chicken soup. So after a trip to the grocery store for a BBQ chicken and some vegetables and 4 hours of simmering I had home-made chicken soup. Good thing it was good because I made enough to last about 2 weeks. Note for next time -- make smaller batch.

So I just start cross stitching last year after having created many items using plastic canvas and I was hooked.

Here is a picture of my second attempt at cross stitching. My first was a small butterfly that my mom claimed.
